Thread: WARNING! Plastic Python Pests!

  1. #1

    Default WARNING! Plastic Python Pests!

I thought I had heard all the dangers of Arizona! Now I find out that our plastic minis are vulnerable to the area heat pythons! I had feared the heat would deform them, but something more nefarious is afoot!

Just sitting side by side on a hot day here in Clipperland, it struck!

    Now I need a new card! Hey Mike . . .

    Noooooooooooooo not that model again..............
Mind it is the best thing to do with that horrible piece of junk of a model, apart from taking a sledge hammer to it.... Or fixing the wing.
Hats off to you Dave for making something pretty neat out of the rubbish

Actually, Chris, it looks like Clipper fixed the wing squishing either before or while he did the ....er..... fusing!

I thought so too - so, Chris, he appears to have mutilated 2 "proper" Tripes to produce this gem!

I might have known you would have the tape measure out... never mind that there are now effectively six wings... are they correctly spaced, lol

No, what we really need is a miniature of the Fokker V-8 (a truly truly atrocious idea that fortunately was never built beyond the prototype):

I have been through my copy of ' Sopwith - The man and his aircraft' and can find no mention of a 'Python'.

As I said, pretty neat of Dave to make something good out of a rubbish model.

I seem to remember Dave fixing his Tripes ages ago, either just before or about the same time I did.
The miniature is still garbage until fixed or made into same thing else including Dave's model.

I thought it was a good way to fix two at once and have some fun, kinda like making lemonade from lemons . . .
