I like the Storch and its ability to land on a postage stamp. You could use such a model in a "Rescue Mussolini" scenario.
I have also had the pleasure of seeing an expert pilot land one at the Military Aviation Museum in a strong crosswind, working the rudder hard.
Interesting, David.
Any chance I can bribe you into pouring a few Fieseler Fi 167s

There was a Storch hanging above the main concourse in the old terminal at Frankfurt airport. Haven't been to that airport in two decades.
If you can't wait for Dave to get round to it......

Looking great Dave.
At last something else I can use in the Med.

Now you need a piper cub, for a pistol-armed dogfight

"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
I have a handfull at the moment : ) any colors in mind or do you want to paint them yourself?
I love how you've done the landing gear on the Storch, Dave, and the picture of it with the 189 is 'klasse'
All the best,
Matt
Coming along very well Dave.
I will be very keen to see the painted version.

I also would like to buy one from you David. Alastair
Very nice, David. Now you need a scenario or a diorama for them.

Bravo Dave!!!
Many compliment Dave.
Now we need a scenario.... may be "Mussolini's rescue"?
How is it possible to do it?
Waiting for ideas.
Carlo
How about late war flight into and out of Berlin? For tournament play make a set of cards for Reich officials Borman, Speer, etc. then attempt flights in various compas directions specified by the card. The Russian player also has random deployment,( this is also a good reason to field all of those Russian aircraft) with random German fighter cover. It would be a good scenario for convention or demo play. Real model builders could product a Brandenburg Gate / ruined Berlin table to fight it out
I'd very much like to take a leaf out of your book Dave.

My favorite is your "Markers Gone Wild" version - genius! Now I think perhaps I could rationalize a Fiesler Storch in Italy in '44 or '45...
All the best,
Matt
