    Smile Quick fly-by and wave

    Hi, new guy here :-)

Just to say thanks to Flying Officer Kyte for the welcome to the Drome and to wave hello to all and sundry.

I wargamed heavily in my youth (1970's) but then got into role playing games and then computer / console gaming.

Dipping my toe into Wings of Glory with the Rules and Accessory Pack and four planes (Spad X111, Fokker DR1, Albatros D.VA and Sopwith Camel). Problem is I already want to collect them all
The site seems to be a great resource and I've got a lot to catch up on.

    Cheers to one and all

Welcome to the site, relatively new player myself, the fellow pilots are friendly and have been helpful and encouraging. Started off with good intentions, just get a few models, didn't last long and can see it spiralling out of control, which is usually how I end my games

    Good evening Wingman.
I can now formally welcome you to the Drome on behalf of the U.K. Squadrons.
Traditionally the first beer for new pilots is bought by the Wingco, so I would be pleased to get you one in this evening.
The bar in the Officers' Mess is open and I'm sure the chaps will be happy to show you round and stop for a chinwag.

Welcome to the 'drome Garieth from East Sussex - wanting to collect all the models is not a problem, buying them might be but not just wanting to!
