I found on the web a group called St. St Crispin's Irregulars that is in Anaheim. Below is what they posted on the Ares Wings of Glory facebook site under visitors posts which notes that they play on the second Saturday of the month. I'm planning to attend on October 10th.

If you are in the Southern California area. St. St Crispin's Irregulars Hobby day takes place every second Sat of the month. There is always fans of Wings of Glory there.As well as other miniatures games and board gaming. Plenty of tables and always free. Located at 1127 N. Anaheim Blvd in Anaheim Ca. The next one is Sept 12th from 8 AM to 10 PM. I myself will be bringing my Wings of Glory stuff as well. The club has been meeting her for over 10 years and family and gamer friendly.
