It is impossible for a man to begin to learn what he thinks he knows. -- Epictetus
Sad day.
Sad day indeed.
He definitely had a long life and prospered very well.
It just wont feel the same without Mr. Spock!
R.I.P. Leonard & Live long & prosper in the Afterlife!

May he rest in peace.
LLAP. Watched a Perry Mason episode last night and there was Mr. Nimoy. I think the episode was 1962 and it turned out he was the bad guy. As with some characters in shows there will never be another Spock.
R.I.P.
So sad, a childhood hero gone, thank goodness for the re-runs, the original series are the only Treks I dont own

That news really is a bummer. I always loved his work on "Star Trek," he was one of the main reasons the show was so intelligent. I also found his voice narrating the stories on "In Search Of" to make that show more enjoyable too. His voice was perfect for that.
An emotional response to this news is illogical.
Just realised he has been a star for as long as I have watched TV. Star Trek started a few years after I was born and was one of the only 'grown up' shows I was allowed to watch in my younger days. He has always been a bit special and whenever he popped up in shows (Fringe etc.) and films it was always a big deal.
Although the man has gone his memory will truly live long and prosper.
RiP Leonard Nimoy
As Chris says, Spock will forever be a part of our formative years, and indeed those of my children.
His memory will live on long after we have gone to join him in the greater Universe out there.
R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. An icon passes and his rising star shines bright. I'm glad he had a hand in choosing his successor in the new films. I hope he can continue to do Mr Spock justice.
I was 7 when I watched the first episode. Many films and many episodes later I'm still proud to be a fan.
See you on the Dark Side......
I was born on the day they filmed the Vina dancing as the Green Orion slave girl scene, and my parents watched Trek when I was a kid, so it has always been with me. Suffice to say, even though my favorite character has always been Kirk, Spock's way of looking at things had a major influence on my outlook on life.
He will be missed by millions of fans, "Beam him up Scotty"
