Thread: Bad day or bad Karma

Default Bad day or bad Karma

They say it goes in Threes so here goes.

Got back from a great W/E with my daughter and grandson to find the toilet wouldn't stop flushing. Great. Sunday in France so no shops open till the AM.

Went to switch on the computer. No POST beep on turn on and no signal to the screen. Sunday ( or any day in Brittany no computer stores open). CMOS failure or motherboard is dead.

The answer? A cup of percolated coffee. My better half brews it up , takes the glass receptacle from beneath the filter and lets out an eek as the bottom falls out of it, spilling coffee all over her. No harm done to SWIMBO but sort of caps the day off.

Its now Wednesday. Toilet fixed Comp fixed with new battery and CMOS reboot ( Thank god for Google ) and scrounged another coffee maker.

Happy days and next month has a Friday 13th as well

So what do think by transporting this bad Karma to the Aerodrome???

By the way it's better the toilett flushes instead of not flushing.

Also if you can handle this with a bucket of water...

Bad luck there Paul. At least your Good Lady did not get scalded.
On the up side you didn't get your aircraft grounded for a week.

So Paul Do NOT go to the Toilet, use the computer or drink coffee on Friday 13th.
I think I would just leave the house & take shelter in an underground bunker if you can find one.

Glad to hear everything is at least back to normal now!

At least all three troubles are out of the way Paul - although I would be very careful on Friday 13th just in case
