    Default Replacing a Plane's Undercarriage

    Greetings,
One of my younger siblings got a hold of some of my planes, and long story short, Willy Coppens is now lacking in the axle and wheels of his plane. Any suggestions on replacing it, or do I need to buy another plane?

If you want I can give it a go, PM me and I can get the elves on it. They work for free : )

Paper clips cut to size and bonded using CA glue - the wheels can be made using plasti-card and punched out. Then apply paint.

I bought this Fokker DVII on ebay, and it came without an undercarriage (despite there being one on the picture! )

I made this undercarriage from a paper clip, cut to produce 4 straight lengths, and the axle/wheels from a "dead" Shapeways DVII, also from evilbay
