Default Eastern Front Teaser;) Action pics!

With Prague Con 2015 on the horizon and Kubajs working on some missions to be flown there (with the little help of Nightbomber), taking also into account a rather low interest of the Community in this theatre of operations, kind of forgotten battles, let me show you some action pics I have taken today after finishing another Bf 109 rotte, a group of Ratas and a LL Mitchell, just to tease you all who consider joining us in Prague
The new Bf 109 F/G pictures are posted in Bf 109 Painting Showcase thread, the Ratas will be posted there as well.

Let me finally thank user prymus for sending me soviet decals of excellent quality. prymus!

The mat is an official German air photo of the Eastern Front countryside in winter. It bears even some originally written names of places of interest. like villages or fords. The file was shared by user Honza during Prague Con 2014.

    Nice miniatures, wingman.

Also if I haven't much Soviet planes I could bring a movement deck for the Rata to Prague.

I would like to fly one of those.

Truly, gathering the EF stuff is a challenge, according to ARES policy, but fear not my Kamerad. I'll do my best to provide us with the Stalin's Flying Coffins (as one of the historian wrote) to shoot at

Awesome planes and map. Hope to see more photos from the convention. You also just gave me an idea for some 1/144 B-25's I have. Something different.

Excellent paint job there, Andrzej! Those planes look like they could be flying outside my window (with 5"/12.5cm) of snow out ).
Looks like the Ostfront will be heating up this winter.

Let me thank you all chaps for the rep salvo and nice comments you pleased me with. You are too kind, truly. I just wanted to present my passion for the game in all it's aspects like modelling and painting minis. Of course EF theatre is the one really underestimated. No politics involved of course and I am the last one to be fond of the red star guys at all, you know. It is just a chapter of air war history to explore, that's all. With Kubajs's true passion I hope we can bring those forgotten battles and soviet planes which in many ways were fantastic to life and have just pure fun In Prague.
I would not be me if I had not mentioned that there, over the eastern front, was an active Polish fighting force besides the famous squadrons flying in RAF - the 1st Fighter Regiment "Warsaw" flying Yaks-1 and 9 and even one Airacobra. Just like the French "Normandie-Niemen". Politics apart, all those flying warriors of the sky on both sides of that bloody front deserve our attention.

I have 3 winter I-16s, and I'll gladly bring them.

Mentioning that, I have 3 republican I-16s, too, if you have some idea for SCW

That's what I plan to do for the nightfights over Germany.
