    has any one on here been to gattow museum in germany is it any good cheers

    Definitely a museum worth seeing. I was there twice, last time in in 2006 and must say the exhibition is very nice. I recommend going there during warmer season, for lots of cold war planes are parked outside. Inside the hangar you can find some restored WWI kites and a Bf 109G and Me 163 if memory serves well, plus many Luftwaffe historical uniforms and memoirs.
    The entrance was free.

    looking to go there on a leger tour in2017 going ypres and normandy this year battle of bulge next year

    Gatow is definitely a must-see. Very good museum inside, tons of stuff outside, mostly courtesy of the East German Air Force. Hopefully the Leger Tours itinery will give you enough time to look round it all. I've got several hundred pics stashed away that I took at Gatow.....
