Default Zeppelin Staaken R. VI - Schussbereiche MG

Patrick has a question about the machine guns on the Staaken
He presumes, based on the cards diagramms, that the MG's are unlikely to have been syncronised and wants to know more about the possible angles the MG's could fire through. He asks whether there are any pictures showing the positions of the guns.
BB)

Staaken R VI 30/16. Engine mechanic leaving his nacelle cockpit in flight, to mount the ladder that led to a bulged fairing on the upper wing surface fitted with a machinegun. Not all machines of the type had these installations which utilized captured Lewis guns because of their light weight and ease of portability, but they increased the defensive armament considerably and had better fields of fire than the other gun positions on the aircraft.

My Staaken Shapeways's model by jbmacek had special holes in the upper wings, right above the nacelles, so I mounted mechanics and guns there.
    Thanks for the picture, Zoe.

Great detail on that model... to both designer and painter!

Thank you Chris John designed a superb 3D model. The scheme is fantasy (dark sea blue is quite right), but the "howling wolf" decals are from...WH40K set...).

    Thank you for translating !!!

    Wow,

    what a exposed position!!!!
It must be the coldest position at the whole aircraft!
It looks like, he could shoot back to the left and to the right side. With exception of the structure of the rear.

    Thank you!!!

Default Welche Farbe an der Unterseite???

    Hallo,

bin jetzt etwas weiter gekommen.
