Very nice repaints, Rob. Mine are still in the original blister pack...

They look very nice! I pat myself on the back for posting about them in August. Did you buy any of the other three planes they make?

Those are the only ones in the scale wich are relevant to what I play in WW2 Richard, which is a shame because for the standard of detail, decals and the price they are a steal.
Thanks for pointing them out. I now own one third of the total FAA force of these aircraft if I count the one done in US colours.

Bought few months ago and started yesterday. Unfortunately, the Hull is full of defects, really badly molded. There is a big hole on the right hull side and the left one is so badly molded that I have to build the front part of it Nothing aligned at all ... twisted ...

Very disappointed ... I tried to redesign the missing part of the hull with plastic card and used a lot of putty to plug the hole and to mask the main defects. Tomorrow, I'll sand it down and see if it can be recovered or not.

Otherwise, bought this one this morning. Seems to be of a better quality than the Bismarck

That's a great shame Olivier, and quite unusual for Airfix.
Hope it works out O.K. when you complete the repairs.

    Battle damage : A bit too high for a torpedo impact ... or a torpedo with the same behavior than the famous "bouncing bomb" ;;;

    That is annoying.
I would send those pictures to Airfix.

You will know doubt be better entertained by those lovelies. If this one is like last years Stupor Bowl, a rerun of I Love Lucy would offer more entertainment!

What's all this Supper Bowl about Rich. Has Clipper stopped feeding his Elves then?

Well with the completion of my RN Cruiser Squadron and Carrier force I have achieved about three quarters of what I set out to do this month.

What are the scales of these here masterpieces? I bet the planes on the carriers can really fly too. Brilliant.

They are my preferred scale for long distance shots of WW2 ships, 1:1200 Kev.

Although I must admit to not making an Airfix kit for a while, the state of that model is not what
    I remember them being like.
That would be worth sending in to Airfix and complain, you may well get a replacement

A sneak peek at what I've been up too....... this is the instrument panel of the Albatros D.Va (OAW) the switches were custom made with 0.4mm brass rod that was bent, flattened and cut to shape, then each dial drilled and then fixed with the switch -
