Famous Aces received this morning, got from Amazon, used good. Totally brand new, oh happy days ahead I think. Got Lothar triplane and Elwood camel before XMAS so first game due to start in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.....take off......

Good to see that you found your way to the U.K. Forum O.K. Wingman.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Don't know how I ever overlooked such a brilliant game. Have now played 3 games with my grandaughter and been destroyed 3 times. Wouldn't mind but I was even trying to win haha. Are well let's see what game 4 brings. And so it begins.

I really enjoyed collecting the card sets. I wish Ares would print more. It is fun playing with them, and, personally, I like having the broad collection of pilots/planes. They are quite nice to look at; they remind me a bit of collecting baseball and other card sets when I was much, much younger, only without the stale gum.

I agree on all counts. I started with cards (before the addiction), and they still travel well. I still pick up card sets when I can... in fact, just acquired a Dogfight booster (SE5a & S-S D.III/IV) for $7.
