This a/c still retained its German war time Balkenkreuze at the time of capture - and was painted with Lozenges on all surfaces. Similarly, Latvian ground forces captured a German Hannover CL.IIIA, 7015/18 - this airplane was however marked in the white squares of the Landeswehr Air Force - and it too was painted in Lozenge patters on all surface areas at the time of its capture. This a/c was then assigned to the Latvian Air Force, who only partially blocked out the Landeswehr's white squares with the Latvian fire-cross roundel and painted the a/c in dark green.
