    Default Hello from Edinburgh

Saw this Wings of Glory demo'd at Carronade and Claymore and finally taken the plunge. Sourcing the rules was a truly internatonal affair. A duel set flying in from Athens and the rulebook en route from the US.

If anyone near Edinburgh fancies a game or know of a club where it's played please get in touch.

    Merry Christmas, Kris,
Welcome to the 'drome. I'm not sure who's close to you, but there are far more players on your island than mine. They'll introduce themselves shortly.

From the far side of the colonies, Vancouver Island, Canada!

On behalf of the Squadrons based here in the U.K. I can now formally welcome you to the Drome Kris.
I'm sure some Scottish players will be in touch soon.
In the meantime do pop into the Mess for a Christmas Dram or three.

Well I`m Edinburgh based and I`m one of the guys that was running things at Carronade and Claymore!
If you fancy a game sometime and know anybody else that might be interested in putting together a local group just pm me.
The Games Hub is a potential venue as the`ve done a few games there in the past!

And we also have this coming up in April.

There are a few occasional players at the Falkirk club. We meet on a Monday night and, with a bit of notice, I am sure that I could organise a WW1 Wings of Glory evening

Kris - welcome to the Drome from a kilt wearing flyer sitting atop a small bit of the Isle of Skye (my ancestral homeland) here in southwestern Ohio...yes, a friend brought me a small scoop of soil from the island some years ago...still proudly hold it in hopes of seeing it grow. Welcome again...Audentes fortuna juvet!

It would seem some of our endeavours at Claymore and Carronade rubbed off on someone. Welcome Kris and happy flying.
Hope to see you flying at the venues in 2015.
