6 & 7 to do first though
Table time provisionally booked with SWMBO for Saturday.... then "but we must shop too" bombshell dropped
Ah yes, a little sojourn R&R to Lumley Castle (Courtesy of the kids for our 30th) has put paid to some planes for this weekend for me too.....ah well such is life.

I intend to play Scenario 2 for the German side. But I have a question re: scoring.
Victory Points:
-1 Point every turn (3 cards) each balloon remains up (when do we start counting? Turn 1? And is it one point per balloon?)
-1 Point every turn (3 cards) 2 Seater remains in the combat area. (I assume this refers to the British two-seater. Also, "combat area" means the game surface (maps)?)
Sorry if these are stupid question, but inquiring minds want to know!
Another stupid question--Scenario 3 seems to offer way more points that Scenario 1 & 2. So wouldn't it be best for each side to just play Scenario 3?
Scuppered me too because instead of Eileen going to her Embroidery Club today I have got to go with her to the Dentists. Still chance to do some shopping in Nottingham.

There is a point to the higher scoring third mission, especially the British. One and Two are more balanced. The battle was very heavily in favour of the allies. The German players can play safe, so to the British. Mission 3 can lead to very heavy aircraft losses especially for the British. There is a method to the madness and all will be revealed at battles end.

Before I play one of the missions--can my fellow German pilots let me know if someone intends to play mission 1 and 3? I don't want us to end up having to forfeit points to the Bulldogs.
Mission part deux complete - no spoilers !
Well I've taken Neil's route to gaming purgatory - new kitchen ordered in the sales, due for delivery and fitting in the first two weeks of Feb, so SWMBO in full "we must spend time clearing the kitchen and utility room" mode with a side order of "excuse to shop for new kitchen equipment"
So no gaming at home until mid Feb I fear

I think its got to be mission 2 so Bags inflated , once more into the ditch and damn the torpedoes .
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
You'll enjoy that Paul - I lost a sausage so I hope your luck is better than mine !
I have now managed to run through Parts one and three - In part one Max slipped away severely damaged and lived to fight another day but didn't manage to get a kill himself so that would have been a +2pt victory to Tommy.
In part three I was pleasantly surprised that I managed to get in and bomb the target successfully... but I didn't manage to it get back out afterwards ! I lost a bomber destroyed (A BOOM!) and a scout driven off on the way in, the second bomber did the deed but was so severely mauled that he was easily taken down by flak on the way out. That would have been a +496pt (something like that) victory to Tommy.
This was a fun game, though I think because I shoot dot to peg I may have an advantage in that I get out of range quicker so you dot to base Chappies may find it a little harder and I recommend you use aircraft with a decent damage level - good luck to you all !
This is going to give some very useful pointers to the chaps yet to try the missions Dave.
Thanks for taking time out to do all these, and report back.

This scenario has been changed to: including a second eindecker.
Dave could you repost the BRF in the missions sticky please.
See you on the Dark Side......
This weekend, I will be flying my first mission in a long time. I am flying for the Central Powers, and will be flying Mission #3. The setup states that both forces start along the eastern edge. Is this correct? Am I misreading this? Thanks.

Kitchen fitters should be finished later today (hooray), the a bit of decorating, tiling and laying some flooring to go - so should be back to the gaming table by the end of next week and this will be the first game to play.
Good news Brian - you must be chomping at the bit !
