Thread: Fw 190As finally completed.

  1. #1

    Default Fw 190As finally completed.

It was a prolonged project, by finally has been completed yesterday.
4 Fw 190A models by AIM painted and decaled.
2 of them bear some generic RLM 74/75/76 camo appropriate for Eastern and Western front, but may be eventually used in the Med Theatre.
The African scheme and the Winter ones are specific for Med and EF.
This way I can combine some of them in different scenarios.
Cards made by Mike are printed and ready to be cut out. H maneuver deck is rather common. Prague 2015 will see them in action

I hate the winter lighting conditions here, no sun and only flash light possible, which I hate in this business.

    OK,

Things are starting to blur. Or my filing system is broken. I don't remember doing cards for these. Am I loosing it, or did you borrow some cards from my album?

    Nice planes, BTW.

Nice looking Shrikes; which models are you running, because the H deck is probably not right. You would have gotten the cards from Max's files, from before the fast decks.

    I have cards in my album with "H" (A4s) and "O*" (A5, A6).

Which is correct, or are both?

PS: My "Offline" album has an A8 with an "R" deck, too?
PPS: The A8 on the Mistel has the "R" deck, as well. WWII German Oddities Album

The A4 fighters should all be Q deck; the fighter-bombers (A4/U#) should be F decks.
The A5s and A6s get a bit more complicated, but generally, yes the fighters are O* and the FBs are F; the A6s with under wing gun pods are Q*

Being the idiot I can be on occasion, I am considering taking the ''R'' deck and printing it in a smaller scale to more closely match the speed of the "O" deck. But would the fast and slow movements be same once the "R" deck matched the speed of the "O" deck?

    Karl,
Do we have an updated reference for the new decks and unofficial planes? Did I miss something? I thought we went through this discussion to get the "R" and "O*" on the cards before. Of course, that may have been for some other universe. The one with Harvey, the 6' invisible rabbit buddy?

What is the "O*" Deck, anyway?

The committee will be releasing an unofficial plane table soon; I'm sure the R and O* and Q* were discussed with the Fw-190 before.
O* is an O deck minus the 60 degree turns. Q* is the Q deck minus the extreme side slips (hard to do when you have extra weight on the wings ).
