I wonder how long they will take to cross the Atlantic.

How do they compare in size to Capronis Dave. I was thinking of trying to get a Caproni foam hanger to fit them into if they will fit.

Could be, but now I have mentioned the Capronis, it seems to be a bit of a bastard thread.
I have been waiting to work that joke in for ages.

Just for fun it would be nice to see one next to the WW1 planes like the CA3.
I know they are different scales so the comparison photo makes it easy to see if they fit my small display cabinet shelves.

    So here they are together

Overlay-not sure it would fit in the same foam very well . . .

Nice, that you received them, Clipper.

I'm expecting the very same parcel.

Great comparison Dave. Gives a good idea of the size.

I have been doing various staged photos with the B-17s and other planes. Bit O' Lace accompanied by a trio of P-51's looks amazing. I can almost hear Hermann Göring say, "When I saw Mustangs over Berlin, I knew the jig was up."

    Cool, thanks for the pics.
I just ordered my first few WW1 planes including the CA3.
So the CA3 must have been impressive in real life during it's day.

Of course a B17 would be pretty cool in 1:144 too but I already have a 1/200 Hogan B17.

When in Rome this year, Attilio took us to the Air Museum Tak.
I can assure you that the CA3 is very impressive when close up.
