Thank you Peter, they arrived today. Look great

You are most welcome Darell. Amazing how quickly flames spread!
Even better than I remember it.

They always look better on someone else's plane.
They look fearsome!
The talent of those in here is always fantastic. Great job.
Working on version 2.0 now. I'll know by next week it it is a success.
This nearly got lost in my gadding about and other life issues, but I did take pictures:
This arrived in the mail as I was packing to visit relatives for the weekend:
And after I got back, I found another package (Thread: here), so I tried out the contents of the first package on it:
Thank you very much, Tim. These are much, much better than the plain pipe cleaners I was using.
PS: The price of friendship and generosity. See the top right corner of the top picture. Shipping my presents aren't nearly as costly. More thanks, Tim.
PPS: Have you posted a "How-To" on the "Flickering Flame Markers"? They would look great on convention tables.

Very nice.....In the spirit of the season.
Mike, I think you mean to compliment Peter for the flame and smoke markers - as regards my package, your plaudits should go to Nexus!
Glad you llike them Mike. Yes, I have a How To on the smoke and flames posted here. They are not that difficult to make.
Flickering markers are a different story. Flames 2.0 are in the works. Tim has a large marker while prototypes of 2.0 have gone out for evaluation.
I'll pass on the results. Not sure how to post a video but I have time to find out...
Is there no end to your chaps generosity.
It's not only the flames which are heartwarming.

A very nice little present arrived in the Mail today.
Thanks very much Peter.
Although you can't see it here this second generation flame marker actually flickers.
What is most impressive is the miniscule on/ off switch.
It could be the answer I have been seeking for my searchlight battery.
My question now is where did you source those Peter?
Rob.
"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
Rob, the switch comes with the battery holder. Lots of tiny lights to choose from, I went with the 1.8mm flashing.

This is the first I found since Doncaster. Took a few nights searching to stumble on. I was hoping for a smaller battery & holder but this works nicely for now.
How do you post a video?
Now to find a smaller battery holder....
Thanks for the reply.
I will have a look for those switches over here Pete.
Can't help with the video I'm afraid. I have never done one. Maybe Old Guy can help on this one.

I'd look into any hobby railroad shop or doll house shop you can find. They have all the tiny lighting.
If you can't find any let me know. I will soon be ordering some more.
Right. Will do that thanks Pete.
