Thread: Nieuport 11 flying replica

    Default Nieuport 11 flying replica

    This news left me breathless.
During the last Air Show near Krosno/Poland, a new flying replica of Nieuport 11, built by my fellow countryman, Mr. Krzysztof Cwynar was presented.
The brave pilot and constructor said he had built the kite in his garage and is so proud to fly like WWI pilots. Look at that magnificent man!

Fantastic! How lucky to have the skill be able to do this.

    What a beauty.
I'd even like a non flying replica of that sitting on my lawn.
If only my lawn were big enough.

That's Armand de Turenne's plane isn't it?! Liked it when the picture turned up in the "series 9"-thread but now!
Wow!! Tap him on the head from me next time you meet him, Andrzej.

Ya, really nice looking, but does he fly with or without the "Boom" card?
Not just a pretty face ...

What a beautiful replica! I hope he always only draws "0" when damage occurs...

That was definitely the highlight of the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous at Wright-Patt this Fall - seeing all of the relicas close up as well as flying...what a treat. This was my first time being there, but it definitely won't be my last.

These planes are gorgeous, too, Bob - thanks for posting the pics of them!

    All the best,
    Matt Materne
