    Default Revell Dr 1

Just seen the Revell Fokker Dr. 1 - Mini-Kit at wonderlandmodels for £1.79, I know it is a bit big at 1/125th scale.
Has anyone bought one and is it any good?

It is a very simple clip-together model - prepainted & pre-decalled but looks very large when put next to a Nexus/Ares triplane.

And I notice from their website that they have a SPAD XIII and a Hanriot HD.1 in their 1/144 pipeline - nice

Their catalogue of 1/144 kits now shows; Fokker Dr.1; Albatross D.V; Nieuport 17; Se5a; Fokker D.VII and Sopwith Pup!

So close!!!! Argh. And I was really digging the clip together, prepainted and decalled!

Someone get one of these and do a side-by-side with the Ares model, please!

Bought Two just in case they turned out to be ok. They are aimed at ages 6 and up so are a bit crude. Could be improved on but I do not know if paying £1.79 and then operating on it is worth the time.

Thanks! Give it some weathering or a blackwash or something and it look right on. Too bad about the size. Just too big to mix with 144. Still fun though1
