    Default Very Embarrassing Evening...

... (for some) started with my Camel vs. my Jelena's D.VII. After initial face-off and some maneuvering around (i was outmaneuvered in few unpleasant occasions), I managed to play illegal Immelmann, took extra A card and put myself into excellent tailing position. Unfortunately, excellent only for my wife. It was soon over. 0 : 1.

Game 2, we switched the planes. Game was balanced, but I managed to draw two Pilots and 17th point of damage in the same phase. 0 : 2.

Game 3 matched Jelena's Dr.I vs. my Spad VII. Yeah! Fokker drew Pilot, and soon Explosion. Game over, first point for me! 1 : 2.

Game 4, we switched planes. Firs two damages I drew, were (you can guess!) two Pilots. Effective and merciless. 1 : 3.

Game 5, Jelena's Nieuport 23 vs. SS.III. Cocky Siemens pilot (read: me) expected easy victory. Well, received double shot through head (read: two Pilots). 1 : 4

Game 6. Switch, but planes only. Result was the same. My Nieuport soon perished in flames, with engine damaged. 1 : 5.

Game 7. Jelena's D.VII (now Udet, last time it was Goering) waved to my fast and furious SE5a which miscalculated distance and, While escaping double jam (house rule: 6 cards no shoot) suddenly decided to visit relatives who live of the table... Although SE5a had advanageous 9 : 2 at the moment. Nevertheless, 1 : 6.

Game 8 and new switch. Fortunately last game for tonight. Lasted longer than any previous. Lots of maneuvering and outmaneuvering done by both sides. Jelena better used altitude, and eventually, my poor pilot, flying machine with damaged engine kissed the earth. It was final 1 : 7

ahh but you both won in the end, did you not? re: nieuport vs ssIII, see the special damage can be the great equalizer.

Jelena made a short trial with the evil Central Power attacker.

    Nice short report Nemanja.

I'm not surprised that you posted in the wrong place Nemanja. You were obviously still suffering from shell shock.
Really bad luck old chap, although Mrs.K. insists that it was all due to feminine intuition.

Good. Congrats for Jelena. Now you can be sure you have raised a deadly wingman for Prague 2015, old boy.
Shuffle the damage deck better, next time, Nemanja Those pilot hits appeared too often in a pair...

Similar story with my significant other. I call my wife the Welsh Dragon. One Sunday evening we played 5 games of WGF. She in her Sopwith Dragon Pup, me in various Germans. Halberstadt DIII, Albatross DII, Albatross DIII.

1st game, 1st shot she put me on fire. It went down hill from there. 0-1
2nd game, 1st shot she put me on fire, same as above. 0-2
3rd game, 1st shot she put me on fire, 0-3
4th game, 1st shot, on fire and explosion. 0-4
    5th game, 1st shot explosion. 0-5

She is a great pilot and deadly. In Mark Gibbon's PBEM game she has 3 kills in the first 7 turns. At least its not just me!

Some good AAR Nemanja!! Girls and kids are deadly I say. Science (and the number of planes in the ground) can prove this.
    Thanks

    Indeed.

I'll need a good wingwoman to stand the ground versus Nemesis 2015.

I see you have not recovered from the last year trauma, dear Friend. No worry. If no woman is near, my Stuka rear gunner will try to give you some protection.
We must overcome that double boom curse eventually!

You are so correct Nick. Kids are also a smaller target so harder to hit!
