Default RAF cammo schemes in Burma

I have a nice flight of Spitfire MkV to go against my japaneese aircraft.

However I do not have any info about the cammo schemes for the Burma campaign.
I know the cammo for the Med and Desert but not found anything on Burma.
Can anyone give me an idea for the correct colours, with the jungle was it the temperate scheme ( dark green/ Dark Earth) ?

    Thanks chaps

I've seen both green/ grey and green/earth schemes. Will see what I can dig up.

Here are some nice green/earth schemes to be going on with though

According to my source (polish painting guide for modellers) they used the same painting schemes as in Europe, being:

    For Fighter Command:
    Dark Green (FS34079)
    Dark Earth (FS30118)

    For Fleet Air Arm:
    Dark Slate Grey (FS34096)
    Extra Dark Sea Grey (FS36118)

    Undersides were painted:
Sky type S (FS34504) - until 1941 for Fighter Command, and until 1943 for FAA
Sea Grey Medium (FS36270) - from 1942 for Fighter Command
Grimmy White - from late 1943 for FAA

OK, checking the relevant Osprey "Aircraft of the Aces" #87 the majority of the examples there are green/earth. There are a small handful of grey/green (and one or two oddities - its well worth a look)

Normaly paiting scheme Dark Green (FS34079) with Ocean Grey (FS36152) was introduced in September 1941 and restricted to ETO. But I suppose exceptions to the rule existed, as usual.

Seems like both the European schemes were used with the early war Brown/Green scheme remaining in use on some fighters long after it had been entirely replaced by the Grey/Green scheme in the UK.
U.S built types used by the RAF and RN in this theatre frequently retained their original U.S camoflage and just had the SEAC style roundels painted on them.

The SEAC roundel was a modified `Type B` with the red centres replaced by a lighter blue shade. They were frequently rather small in size and often augmented by white stripes for IFF reasons to avoid confusion with the Japanese `Meatball`
It didn`t help that the Japanese army frequently used a Brown/Green camoflage on a lot of their aircraft!
Australian aircraft tended to use a more regular size `B` with white centres.

The Royal Navy had several roundel variations, using the SEAC style, Austrailan version, an almost all blue version with a small white ring and eventually a Blue/White roundel with U.S type bars.
