I've looked around for a drawing of the Pe-2 with this style of canopy, but can only find ones with the rear dorsal turret. I do now have a card for a Pe-3, though...

A couple of 1/200 AIM Petlyakov Pe-2s I painted up in winter colours of the 12th Guards Bomber Air Regiment attached to the Soviet Baltic Fleet in the winter of 1943.

[Edit: Fixed the firing arcs and the typos]

PS: Amazon.ca - Pe-2 Guards Units of World War 2
From the Comments on the book: "The cover artwork is superbly executed by Mark Postlethwaite and portrays one of the more salient Pe-2 dive bomber operations that occurred on July 16, 1944. The German warship "Niobe" is shown under attack by the Pe-2 of Major V. I. Rakov of the 12th GvBAP (Guards Bomber Air Regiment)."

Has anybody seen a credible photo of Marija Dolina's 125th Dive Bomber Regiment aircraft? I would like to do a version of her airplane, but I can't find color photos to go off of.

Post #12 card fixed. The Unofficial Stats listing led me astray. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Depending on the version, there is a possibility of three more arcs, but they are all used by the same gunner. Messy card, if done.

Reedited the card to indicate that one gunner fires either the Dorsal or the Ventral gun, but can't fire both in the same phase.

Beautiful plane and paint jobs. Better looking bird than the Mosquito I think.

I can't find anything, except a few 125th planes flown by other pilots. Not a description of her plane, nor even mention of a plane number. So, you could make one up, and no-one would be able to say different?
