Default New in Tennssee: Tips Appreciated

    Greetings fellow pilots!

Wanted to introduce myself briefly: I am a moderately experienced tabletop wargamer (land as well as air) and am interested in starting a group of pilots in my local area.

I would be interested to know any tips you more experienced flyers have for me, especially where to stock up on airplane models and accessories at good prices. (I have the WW2 rules and I am looking for WW2 fighters/heavy fighters.)

    Thanks,
    Featherstone

On behalf of the Squadrons based here in Dear old Blighty, welcome to the Drome Joseph.
You will find many of our members in quest of the same items, and I'm sure they will help you find what is available in your neck of the woods.
    Fly safe.

Welcome to the Aerodrome, Joseph, from here near Norwich in the United Kingdom. The Aerodrome Store (link at the top of this page) has some models for sale at good prices. Some prices on the internet can be excessive.

Hello from Poland, Joseph. I hope you'll enjoy flying with us!

As for your question, I do not know where to buy planes in US, however I'd recommend checking aerodrome store first. There are plenty of planes available there. One thing you should know about WW2 planes here - the ones that were released as Wing of War are rather scarce now, especialy Me-109E and early Spitfires.

    Welcome to the Aerodrome, Joseph.

Check the Aerodrome store at the top of the page and other sources are 12-7 Games, Coolstuffinc and Miniature Market. These seem to have the best prices along with sales at times. ENJOY!!!

Thanks to all the welcoming responses! I feel at home already... or at least occupying the soggy old hammock under the bomb rack at the back of the hangar... ;]

    Onwards, ever upwards!
