Thread: Gentlemen, I bid you adieu

  1. #1

Default Gentlemen, I bid you adieu

No 1 daughter (OK, only daughter) is getting married in Cyprus so we are all trooping out there for a week. Depending on wifi access of the free variety, may not be able to raise comms with base. Not hopeful of anything of interest aviation-related, and SWMBO has already rumbled the few paints, brushes and plane models I had stashed in the case and hoiked them out

More hopeful for the week after when I am in Madrid and the Air Force museum is on the agenda

Shame about having your supplies evicted Gunners, although how you thought you'd have any spare time is beyond me!

At least you know the wedding will have great weather

Happy landings Gunners! Congratulations to the happy couple too. just look on it not as losing a daughter but as gaining a potential gamer and the possibility of future little grandgamers.

Don't forget you can slip som cards and an A deck into your pocket.

Retsina on the terrace (balcony), with the Better Half, enjoying the sun (sunset, sunrise?).

Been there, at least in Greece. Quality time will be enjoyable, Steve. Have a great one, and best wishes to you and yours for a great event.

Wish we were there with you, even without planes.

Happy and safe journey. When I saw the title I was concerned that you were leaving the site but now happy you are going on a trip for a good reason.

I also feared the worst, from the title; have a great trip, and enjoy yourself.

Damn it, man -- don't you know you don't pack your minis and painting kit until the morning rush, when she's too flustered to notice? ;)

It appears Cyprus is civilised and has free wifi so I can keep in touch. Thanks for all your best wishes guys. Now, decisions, decisions.....do I walk down the side of the pool or swim it to get to the swim-up bar

And Bob - you don't get rid of me that easily
