Working on 28mm British for Muskets & Tomahawks, plus about 25 planes for both wars. Also 1/72 WW1 all major combatants for To The Last Man skirmish rules
I have dusted off a 20 year old project myself, 6mm early war WW1 German and French. OK they are really ROS Franco-Prussian, they look the part.

I've also had a side project going on during the down time of waiting for bond to set or paint to dry. It required a lot of drying time as I did the wood grain effect in exactly the same way as the 1/32 Sopwith Snipe. So there you are a 1/144 scale Albatros with wood grain paneling, each panels grain going against that of the ones either side of it.
She will probably get a lozenge camo on the wings and the rudder (half wood and half Camo) and tail plane with 'From Factory' markings.
Can't wait to see this one finished!

All the wood grain effect including the wind screw (propeller) were achieved by using the oil paint technique in my 'how to' article.

she's finally off the workbench and ready for action..... just wish I had a club or regular to go up against
I made some small modification to this model, the radiator pipe of the original does not go through the upper wing, so I cut it off drilled a hole and fed my own brass rod through and down to the engine. The lozenge camo is from the Fokker DV.II and so having cut it all to shape lined up the pattern so it was a match... .the Albatros has a longer wingspan.
The rigging was done using the Japanese version of EZ line and I absolutely love this stuff!

Can you give more details on the Japanese version of EZ line? Is it round or like EZ line flat (rectangular really) in cross section? I assume it's very stretchy and available in different thicknesses (what did you use?).

I haven't finished my Star Trek 15s yet, but I realized I needed a few Andorians, Vulcans, etc.
This redshirt met with a most untimely death.
Only to be resurrected as an Andorian.
So now I have the initial group, plus these waiting in the wings.
On the WWI front, I bought some decals for my Staaken, but haven't made any move towards painting it.

Thanks guys for the comments but those are F-Toy 1/144. They are pre painted, put them together and decals. That is the main reason I like them. Only had a few until I met Rich who has an awesome collection of 1/144 planes.
