Default Hello from a new flyer

    Hello All

Just reporting for duty after a fantastic introduction to the game by a friend whilst away reenacting for the weekend. Had a great evening getting to know the Camel and the system, and although I didn't last to long, managed to give as good as got. Living in Nottinghamshire, I've been wargaming on and off for years and have always had a real passion for aircraft and history. I am a keen re-enactor of the C17 and C18th and have chosen to try WWI.

I'm very much looking forward to receiving the rule pack and a small selection of models through the post this week so that I can get to grips with what I hope will be a fascinating and informative hobby.

On behalf of the Squadrons based here in the U.K. I can now formally welcome my latest Wingman Jez to the Drome. Do look in on the Officer's Mess and have a few virtual beers and a chinwag with the chaps. I'm sure you will find it most informative.
Fly safe and watch your six.

Welcome aboard. Have fun, collect lots!

Remember, there is a formula I use for bikes as a cyclist that is relevant here. Number of bikes needed is n+1 where n = the number you currently own.

I keep trying to explain this theory to my girlfriend!

My formula is a little different:

    Number of planes I need = [TOxNxPpNx(APGT+1)]/CofAI

    Where:

    TO - Theater of Operations
    N - Nation involved
PpN - Planes per Nation (A growing Mathematical Constant in each nation...)
APGT - Average of Planes I already got per Type
CofAI - Coefficient of Anger from Inęs (Luckily, very low for the time being...)

    Easy, right?!

Hi Richard, yes afraid so, although there are 2 of us in the KG with the same first name. I'm the one who doesn't resemble Boris Johnson and lurks around and in the KG musket block. John, who introduced me to the game is also KG. Perhaps a meeting is in the offing one weekend.
