Well here is the one that some folks have been waiting for. Sat morning (0800) Rich had his first Malta game. Here is a report of the first action.

Well here is the one that some folks have been waiting for. Sat morning (0800) Rich had his first Malta game. Here is a report of the first action.

It was a fantastic Italian victory (or, as my friend John said, a a "fantasy" victory for the Italians). We shot down the entire Maltese air force (well, at least all of the planes in this game) and successfully bombed the airfield.
More importantly, Rich found that the way to get 10 players from a 200 person convention to play in your game is to schedule it at 8:00 AM -- 8:00 AM! Who would have thought it? We were actually pushing planes around by 8:15.

Superb action, great game. More ideas for our own Malta mini campaign spring to mind.
