The planes are done, but the stats and firing arcs need work.

The drawings, markings and camo inspiration came from this site: www.secretprojects.co.uk - Boeing Flying Wings

PS: Dave, if you need the plane art for cut and paste paint jobs, PM me.

    Dave,
The firing arcs are all single .50 cals, no? One nose, one tail, one dorsal and one ventral? And I'm thinking a crew of: two pilots; bombardier/nose gunner; flight engineer/dorsal gunner; ventral gunner; and tail gunner.

Best I can find: It was a mix of 0.50 and 0.30 -- I'm guessing 0.50 up top and in back, and 0.30 forward and under, in keeping with actual designs.

The Number 2 and 3 arcs are a bit messy. Suggestions for those?

Also, we don't have the weight of this thing to figure out damage. Early 1936 might mean that there wasn't much armor or self-sealing tanks. I'm open to suggestions on these things, too.

    And more suggestions for unit(s)?

    Karl,
I was going to blend some stats together, using the Boeing 315 and serious SWAG.

    Dave,
Did you want my B306 camo pattern in a .png or .jpg file? Or would you like something more standard?

All the plane and management cards (one set each for camo and NMF) are updated in my WWII Allied Oddities album: Link

The damage is completely fictional, but based loosely on the B315 bomber and divided in half-ish. At this point (1936), I don't think it would have too much armor, nor self-sealing fuel tanks. Without the extended fuselage and empennage, and with some weight savings in the wing design, I think this should be a good guestimate (29 Damage). We could argue more, if we assume redundant construction and the armor. etc.. A few missions in combat would result in upgrades, and possibly bigger engines...

Oh, and I copied Dave's NMF version with the big black lines:

Since Mike did the camo view so cool I just had to make them into stickers . . .

Printed his image on the trusty label paper to scale . . .

I cut the sticker into 6 parts, 2 wings, 2 part fuselage and 2 ailerons. And might as well do it twice . . .

Ready to detail and add more windows . . .
