Hope this works. Shows that there were more than US Army in Viet Nam and they went through as much.
Thanks for that Bob.
I have seen that doco & its very good.
Two of my old 4 wheel drive mates served in 'Nam & one was at Long Tan in the Artillery.
I was just a bit too old to get the call up.
When I was in Uni in the late 70s at International House, Sydney Uni... one of the TEFL (Teaching of English as a Foreign Language) students hailed from Beijing.
Some years previously, as a conscript in the PLA, he'd been a "technical advisor" on 57mm recoilless rifles with the NVA. He saw Long Tan from the other end. His impression was rain, lightning, rain, artillery bursts, and more rain, occasionally interrupted by Australian APCs appearing without warning seemingly at random out of the deluge, driving through their positions, wreaking havoc, and out again. In the downpour, they had no idea where their own troops were, let alone the enemy. A massive confused Charlie Foxtrot he felt lucky to have gotten out alive from. Minus the weapons that had been so carefully transported from China.
Thanks Bob I got the link O.K.
We should all salute the Australian and New Zealand troops.
Rob.

There is a very good movie called THE ODD ANGRY SHOT. Very good movie if you can find it.
Bob
Thank you for finding that. I finally had a chance to watch it.
