I told them I don't work on any day Steve, but it did not help.
I just hope we get a jury that decides on the verdict quickly, and we don't have to spend a weekend bottled up in some hotel together.

Are juries usually sequestered in the UK? that's not usually the case here in the States.

Once deliberation on the verdict starts, if no agreement is made, you are housed in a hotel overnight Karl.

Well, that's an incentive for a quick decision

The one trial I was on the jury for (out of three call ups), we deliberated for about 10 minutes, with the unanimous comment being "how did this case even get to trial?"
