    Default Greetings

Greetings from Connecticut. My name is David and I just joined the site (though I have been on the Sails of Glory site for a while now).

I have just gotten into the Wings side of the hobby and still do not have a lot of planes yet. I have four WW1 planes (two duel packs) and 2 WW2 planes, but I definitely want to get more of them.

    Welcome to the 'drome, David.

You should come back to this thread every so often, and read the last sentence from milcoll73. What an understatement!

Thanks for the welcome. At this point, I really want to get a chance to play this, especially the WW1 game.

I'm curious, anyone in Connecticut interested in getting together to play the game? I'm in the Hartford area, so I was thinking maybe something at the Time Machine/Portal in Manchester on either a Sunday or Monday (I work nights, so these days are really my free days).

I'm actually looking to finally try out WoG (either one) this upcoming Sunday since a few of us are burnt out on X-Wing. If you're interested, I would not mind having a few more people join in, especially since none of us have played the game yet.

I know this is short notice, but if anyone in Connecticut is interested in trying out/playing Wings of Glory, I will (hopefully) be trying the game out myself this Sunday (9/28) at around 2:30-3pm at the Time Machine/The Portal in Manchester.

If you are interested, let me know. There are a couple of other people who want to try out the game as well (we'll probably only play the intro rules), but the more the merrier.
