Thread: Pour me a Horten 229!

RAP stands for Rules and accessories pack.
I do feel that a solution is possible. Whether it makes for a fun game, we'll just have to see.
With the speed advantage, the Me.262 will be hard to catch; it will be the ultimate boom/zoom plane in WGS. Remembering that many, if not most, lost to enemy aircraft were during takeoff, and particularly landings. Not a fun game.
And 1st gen jet vs. jet combat will consume a lot of the playing field.
I am anticipating turning and acceleration restrictions on the Me.262.

the idea for the other one is more complex so it will take me more time to figure out how to do it (if i can).

I am regularly impressed with the creativity, craftsmanship, and collaboration that is a routine experience on this forum. I am also glad that I have so far had the discipline to focus solely on WGF, as branching into WGS would surely create additional storage, budget, and time management issues here on the Illinois front!!!

Nice job, Phillip! The Horten is a maybe for me somewhere down the line - I really do love all the what-if stuff the Germans were designing toward the end of the war...

    All the best,
    Matt

Interesting choice of color for the Reichsverteidigund on this version.
