Thread: Cards for Fulmers and Albacores.

  1. #1

Default Cards for Fulmers and Albacores.

I got these cards from Max's album. Would you chaps think they are about right stats wise?

21 hit points seems a awful lot to me for both planes, Rob.
Were they more solid than a Stuka?
The J deck seems fair to the Albacore, the Fulmar probably a K deck.
But I would listen to both Zoe and Karl.

Rob: for the Albacore, I'd use Carl Brisgamers too slow deck that the Swordfish would use.
Fulmar Mk.II, a J* deck (no fast SS).
    19 hits for both.

    Thanks Chaps.
I had some doubts about the speeds because I knew that the Alb was no better than the Stringbag, but as Max had these stats on his card, I decided to check before committing to producing eight decks.
This firms up what I thought.

Fulmar would be FAA, not RAF, wouldn't it?

It certainly would Chris, but I can change Max's card when I do the stats alterations. the only things I can't do is change the camo colour schemes on my own.

Done in Extra Dark Sea Grey and Dark Slate Grey

According to what I read, only very rare planes had the tail gun installed.

That is really nice of you Mike.
I was quite happy to use the card you had done previously, but that one really is the bees' knees.
Please do not worry about an exact match. they will be flying as several different groups of Fulmers anyway. Some from Illustrious, some from Biter or Hornet and some from Luqa.
I am just grateful to get a card for them with the stats on.
    Thanks for all your effort.

From what I've read: Fulmars never had rear-firing guns -- the second man was dead weight. A few enterprising souls tried carrying Thompson SMGs or flare guns (one account speaks of a roll of toilet paper being tossed into the airstream as a distraction), but nothing really worked.

    Thanks Mike.
I'll follow your paint scheme on this one.
