    Smile Yet Another Storage Solution

    FYI.

Very recently I decided to change my Wings Of Glory storage strategy. I am now using the miniature’s original Ares shipping tray and storing these individual plane trays in an Advantus Document Box (see picture):

The Ares trays provide a secure storage location for the individual plane and it also allows me to keep the plastic plane base and the maneuver deck together with the plane miniature.

    The Advantus Document Box:
    • Can hold six of the smaller planes in one box
    • Is designed to stack securely on top of each other for compact storage
    • Come in different plastic colours
    • Each box is made of clear (but strong) plastic and measures as follows: 14.25″ L x 10.25″ W x 3.25″ D
    • The box is completely open so you can store bigger miniatures with no problem
    • The lid of the box is secured to the body of the box by snap-tight handles on each side

In the USA and Canada the Advantus Document Box can be found in a variety of office supplies and craft stores (e.g. see this Staples web link). In Canada I bought mine from Michaels Arts & Crafts.

I have seen other players adopt similar storage solutions so I am in good company!

    Thank you for your attention.

    Very nice - especially for a flight cross country . . .

Nice idea....especially like the fact that you can get the boxes in different colors.

I've suggested something similar to my son for his growing SWXW collection.

Perhaps not a Large bottle, bu it looks as though a couple AA flasks would go nicely.

Buy the insert with 15 compartments and you can store 15 mini's. I store the bases and cards under that tray in another. I use foam with outline cut out to stop movement. In this option I have 8 mini's room for two more. Centre bays hold 2 decks and 2 bases.
