Thread: Oberst Hajj does some ground pounding

Default Oberst Hajj does some ground pounding

I know some of you are interested in seeing the photos I take when we go on Jeep'n trips. So, here are some photos from day one of my recent R&R.

    After a mild mountain storm.

Our Jeep is parked at 12,960 feet.

    Waterfalls and cascades everywhere.

Green and lush on the left, red and dry on the right.

Snow drifts in a lot of places, this one only up to the window... others, many feet over the top of the Jeep.

A little pebble to climb over.

The Rock Wall. About 20 feet high and kind of bumpy.

    From the top.

    Driving up it.

If you guys are interested in seeing more, I'll post of day 2 pics in the next couple of days and maybe some of the video I took (if I can get any edited in a timely manner).

My sister went on a bus trip last month and one stop was Denver. She said Colorado was better than the Grand Canton and now I see why. Showed these photos to the wife and I hope doesn't put anything in her mind. Beautiful pictures. THANKS

You gave me a laugh with that reply. I thought about the beauty we all have no matter where we are.

    Thumbs up

Magnificent scenery Keith. Lucky you to have country like that within reach.
As an old 4x4er I enjoyed travelling outback Australia which could not be more different.

I for one would love to see more pictures.

Nice scenery Keith. It reminds me of my long ago visit to Wyoming : beautiful mountainous country with awesome skies.

The eastern mountains have some really nice vistas too, but can't compare to the western ones for sheer majesty.

Barry I have to say that is a very good photo of the outback. Watering holes are always a welcome place to visit.

I see there are 3 Scenic railroads in Colorado. May have to consider a trip out that way sometime.
