I have been absent and offline for several days, chaps, but not without a proper cause and some good finds in North Africa
While on well deserved leave from active service as a B.G.I.F. honorary member, I decided to search for some interesting sites and artifacts.
Visiting a traditional Berberian village, some metal plate covering a kind of storage/hole in a ground attracted my attention.
It took my breath away.
Have a look.
But right behind it found a whole can buried in the ground...
A better picture.
"Aircraft Gasoline 1941"
Next day we were driven to another location we were not told what to expect. And suddenly I saw it.
Mos Espa or what left of it in the middle of the desert...
It WAS hot as hell, but the places we saw were incredible. Tunisia is magic.
Thomas - again thanks for the cap
Now let's roll our sleeves - there are some missions and repaints to be completed!
