    Default Africa Corps beware.

There are now a couple of Beaufighters and Mosquitos stalking the Desert in search of prey.

The correct name is Deutsches Afrikakorps, meine Herren.

...and yes, they should be afraid.

    Great repaints, Rob.
    Voilà le soleil d'Austerlitz!

I like the way you are doing cocpits - very natural. Especially when I know you have been mostly WWI fan (almost no cocpit glases for WWI).

I just tried a few things on the hoof and eventually came up with a method that suited me Daniel.
What I do is firstly paint the cockpit with a very weak pale blue, almost white. When dry run in an equally watery gunmetal, which pools in the corners and leaves a slight residue over parts of the blue. Finally dry brush very lightly with silver. That way you get high spots of each colour mixed with a shadow and sheen effect in a random way that looks like figures behind curved glass.

    Very effective Rob!
I use a "home brew" pale silver/blue that I worked up for 40K tanks etc but you have gone the extra mile!

    My pleasure Nick.
It is remarks like yours and Joaquim that drive me on to continue producing the aircraft, along with Clipper's seeming willingness to produce anything that I throw at him.
