Thread: VALE-----COLBATMAN.

    Unhappy VALE-----COLBATMAN.

It is my sad duty to advise that Col passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday.
His son Craig phoned me last evening with the news.
Craig said he had read the tributes from the Forum to Col & I will give Erica a copy that I printed out to take up today expecting to be able to give them to Col.
At least I got to visit him Tuesday & tell him about an arrangement I have made with Keith that you will all hear about shortly.

R.I.P Col & Blue Skies Forever!

Thanks for your kind offer Zoe but you have more than enough on your own plate at present.
We have something happening on the Forum shortly & I will be offering more of Cols Nexus aircraft for sale in the near future but we need Erica & Craig time to get everything organised re funeral etc.

I lost my grandpa this January after a long bought with pancreatic cancer, so I can empathize with you.

Bought my raffle tickets this morning. His family is in my prayers. RIP Col.

    Raffle tickets bought.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing the Col, but I know too well the issues of moving. I've had to move 11 times in my military career, not to mention my life as a base brat. I hope my contribution helps.

Blue Skies, Col. Best wishes to Erica and Craig.

I sent this story over to my friend and game designer Mark Rivera and he was deeply impressed by the community spirit here and posted a link up on his blog and twitter feed.

With gratitude to Daniel (Dan-Sam) for informing us, we have upgraded Colin's Reputation Medal to the appropriate level - Bronze.
