Thread: A hard day's beer

  1. #1

    Default A hard day's beer

There is always time for a good beer after a hard working day. Now this time has come.
An "English Week" in one of our local stores has just been announced: they brought MANY kinds of beer brands from UK so I got a chance to fly a Spitfire!

Lovely! Have a crate of this now

    Ha. That's great, Andrzej.

Any beers for the No. 303 (Kościuszko) Squadron?

I need to look for these at some of our larger liquor stores.

    Thumbs up

I think that is one of F.O. Kyte's favourites Andy.
I know he posted some of their great adds on the Forum a while back. Very humorous!

Seeing it brewed is fascinating too - I have had a couple of tours of Shepherd Neame's brewery in Sittingbourne (for work, honest!!!!)

To be honest Brian, I have enjoyed Shepherds Neam in all its forms for years. Along with Black Sheep they are my favourite beers. A pint of Bishop's Finger or Old Peculiar, mm!

I have to stop reading these posts. Since my meds won't allow me to consume alcoholic beverage any longer, I get a crushing headache if I do, I greatly miss having a good Stout at times.

Woodpecker's not bad, but you should try some Strongbow.

When I was stationed in Germany 30 years ago (Gack! Not aging myself, am I), it was my favorite. The stuff in cans now available just isn't the same. On tap is good, and the Belgian bottled version is pretty good. However, my new fav is Angry Orchard.
