    Default Aerodrome Members - HELP!!!

Hello everyone!!! I need help getting contact information. First, let me give you the set up. Our Boy Scout Council is sponsoring an Air Camp October 10-12 @ the airport in Rockford, Illinois. The airport property is on the original site of Camp Grant, a WWI & WWII training camp some of which is still there, like the training ground and amphitheater!! The event is set up like a mini jamboree, with games (yes, I am having tables set up to run WOG games), skills activities, camping, airplane rides, and aircraft displays!!! This is where I need your help!!!!

I need contact information for the council so they get some military aircraft in for the event, and as some of you know, the military has had cutbacks. Many of you go to air shows, visit museums, know pilots, are involved in Air Shows, etc!!! All we need is name to a person or place, a phone number or preferably an email address, and a type of aircraft if it is known here in the United States!!! Please help out the 8000-10000 Boy Scouts see some truly amazing aircraft and history!!! Thank you for your help!!!!

Great idea, Timothy. I am sure some forumers, like Herr Oberst himself or Karl AKA Jager or Bob AKA BobP will help you in your project

Thanks. Our council does this every four years, this being the third time!!! With the military's cutbacks, it has forced us to go to the private sector!!! Now we need contacts to get us soaring again!!!

I've been away a while, but here's my two cents.

Have you contacted the people that do the space jam in Rantoul, Illinois every year? I think it's Troop 17 and Crew 272. I know it's space and not air, but they might have some ideas. (spacejamboree.com)

Here's an aviation museum in one of Chicago's suburbs. Someone there might be able to help: http://www.illinoisaviationmuseum.org
