Default The Last Zeppelin build . . .

Yeah, its been fun but these are the last for a long while, this makes 110 Zepps out there, enough for a while, other projects beckon. I have forgotten who all requested them so PM me. John Macek, das Phantom, Tusekine, Ron and Fast Git, still interested? I will be finishing them this month as requested . . .

    What a fantastic total Dave.
With any luck, three of them should be flying together at Doncaster this September.

Sure, our Two-Fisted Pilot Tales game ended last Friday, but I could still use one for Wings of Glory.

Nope -- between 80 and 85, depending on who's counting.

Guess it's better for us that Imperial Germany didn't employ elves

I think the USA had the Elf concession -- it explains how it was able to churn out so much stuff in so short an interval.

(Perhaps that explains all the European legends of the Elder Races packing up and leaving -- they came to North America, eventually interbred with the European settlers, and created Americans. >;) )

You need to make one last one with a BLACK & RED paint scheme, then raffle it off to the "COLLECTORS"

So Dave, it is the end of the Zeppelin scourge for you then.
They are certainly looking good, even in this semi finished state.
I can't wait to see where your whimsey directs you next.

Well, with the relative size, probably not. But we can have triplane escorted Zeppelins!

Just to let you all know I received one of Clipper's Height climber Zeppelins yesterday.
    WOW!
A big box that did it's job to perfection with a totally undamaged model inside.
The Zeppelin is as good as it looks in the pictures and I loved the information pages, stand and WoG crew placement and information cards.

Even at 1/214 scale it dwarfs my WW2 planes! In the display case below it you can perhaps make out: Dornier 17s, Wellingtons, Dornier 26, Heinkel 115, B&V Ha139, Junkers 88s and a P-61 and they are ALL tiny in comparison.

Anyway, thank you David for such a unique and wonderful model that has certainly got my 3 young sons asking lots of questions!!
