Default Short Sunderland - Rob's style

I've been working on the Sunderland for Rob.
Although I won't upload pictures of the ready machine before it reaches Rob, I'll be putting here the work in progress.

The Sundy is a bit damaged.

I'll have to scratch-build the floaters and propellers.

But it's still a beautiful bird all the way.

Rob's sent me the photo of the plane he wants:

Will I be able to match this?!

    Many compliments for the model.
Do you know that someone have done a 1:200 scale model of Sunderland?

    Thanks a lot for answer.

I have every confidence that you will do it justice, Joaquim! I look forward to seeing the work-in-progress and the finished product.

    All the best,

Thanks for your confidence, my friends.

I've paused after making some wing floaters that weren't nothing as I wanted them.
Then I moved to Holland and Rob's Sunderland is still here waiting patiently (but with a grudge against me) that I pick it up again...
It will be my next work... Still no good floaters...

Looking forward to seeing this come to life, Quim! I have every confidence that this Sunderland will take its place of pride once you've worked your magic.

What a gorgeous idea of building the plane for WingCo.
