    Hi Kevin,

Great to see Spanish Civil War action. I have to finish off some of my own SCW aircraft - a couple of CR.32s, a brace of I-15s and a flight of BR.20s. Definitely a new year's resolution to get them done and on the table.

    What Tim put down.
Now you should post some more about the planes involved - what models, what schemes?

Thank's for all the coments most kind

The He111 are Minicraft kits painted to match the card see earlier post in this thread

The I16 are f-toys repaint as are the Me109

All have decals from Larry who made them for me and puts them on ebay now and again

I must say the aircraft cards have been made by Oldguy59 and are brilliant as without them we could not have played the game!

The mat is from the internet and I think was to be part of the wings of war set but not sure I had it printed at a printer at 6’ x 4’ to give a good playing area it is very colourful and works well for the period and the game

    hope this helps

    Regards Kev

Great pictures! Could you please post them on BGG too?
The mat looks in style with ours, but it's not one of Dario's works for the game.

Great photos. If you don't know ZVEZDA came out with I-16 in 1/144.

I love all of this! My wife is from Spain and I've wanted to do SCW in WoG for a while now.

Have picked up a few Revolution in the Sky boosters and ordered some 1/200 scale I-16s and BF-109B/Cs from Shapeways. If they turn out disappointing, it's nice to see there are lovely 1/144 scale alternatives readily available :-)

Question: Is the recommended maneuver deck for the BF-109B/C the same K deck as the I-16? Seems a bit too samey to me, considering the I-16 was supposed to be highly agile but slow, and the BF-109 a bit more boom-and-zoomy (though maybe the latter applies mainly to the Emil version of the BF-109?)

Anyways, great work here and thanks!

    Hi Steve
Check out earlier in the thread Old Guy has made the cards for all the aircraft.
The Me109 use the B deck this is available in the main rules and eagles of the reicht card set

    Hope this helps Kev

    Hi Steve,

The Messerschmitt Bf 109B/C/D models use the K deck - see the WGS unofficial aircraft statistics document here - http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/dow...o=file&id=2136

Apologies for the typo in my original post... I was looking at that exact document you linked, and noticing that the later iterations of the I-16 used the same K deck (incorrectly identified as the F deck due to my typo) as recommended for the Bf. 109B/C/D. Hence my confusion.

However, after reviewing Wikipedia's I-16 page, I realize that the versions used in Spain - Type 5, 6 and 10 primarily- are meant to be used with the J deck. It is the latter versions - used on the Eastern Front - that are meant to be used with the K deck.

Anyways, I've found that both the "Revolution in the Sky" (K deck) and "Last Biplanes" (J deck) booster packs are available on clearance pricing through Miniature Market and have ordered a few up.

Muchas gracias para la ayuda y unos abrazos muy fuertes a mis camaradas!

I posted these in another thread but here is a photo of 2 ZVEZDA I-16's in 1/144 and marked for Chinese Nationalist AF. Nothing special but gives you an idea of the ZVEZDA models.

I saw these listed in a English magazine. Armory Models 1/144 Messerschmitt Bf 109A/B. They will come in handy for the 144 gamer.
