I never expected that beauty Steve.
I can see that one lot of cred is not enough for this day's work.
Another very well painted bit of kit.

Here's my F.E.8, a shapeways model. Some decals are left over from the Valom Sopwith Pup kit, and some are home printed.

Well done, glad to see you trying the modeling side of the game. We need more gamers to try them!

Three more to be canon fodder for the Albatros DIs and DIIs in the next, hoped for, phase of the OTT campaign. The last three months of 1916.

These are all Shapeways models, designed by Reduced Aircraft Factory. Paints are a mix of Misterkit (main surfaces) and Valom (everything else). Decals are very varied. Some Doms Decals, Miscmini and the shabby ones will be my own attempts on an ink jet using white decal paper. Sadly, the resolution increase made very little difference and it was necessary to "touch them up" quite a bit

Actually I think those are Decapod models, since I haven't gotten to the FE8 yet. Super paint job and terrain though -- they're very nicely posed.

Very nice Mike, look forward to seeing them in OTT.

The pilot is much lower in mine. Must be a Colombia Aerodrome model with added pilot

    - I only recently added the versatile/PA12 material options to my model

Thanks guys. Ah have I got the designer well wrong. Sincere apologies. They came with no pilot at all and I used some pilots purchased from Shapeways so long ago I cannot recall the name of their designer either - going senile But the nacelle on these three is very narrow and quite shallow so I had to chop up the pilots legs, shoulders and arms, to get them in. They kicked up an aweful stink during that process and one little guy was so angry he totally lost his head, which shot acroass my work table and was lost to posterity.

Anyhow, my thanks to whoever designed them. You guys all do a great job.

We designers appreciate the credit, even if it's occasionally a little off the mark. May they dodge all the boom cards.

Repaint from a donation from Decapod at Salute, no. 40 squadron. Ready to fly in the OTT campaign just before they stopped being used.
