Looks like a super restoration job & I love the colour scheme.
Great just in time for 100 yrs.
That is good news. It is an attractive looking plane.
Old Rhinebeck is a 5 hour drive from me. I will get there this summer for sure. Can't wait to see that in the air.
Good to see the restoration has not been curtailed by financial constraints as so many other projects have been Chris.
Thanks for passing on this bit of good news.
Rob.

Beautiful-looking plane. Would love to see it in person.
That pretty much sums it up.
Might just have to take another trip up there this summer. Thanks for posting.
Another to visit place on my list. Might have to wait until next year due to the trips I have planned this year. Thanks for the post on the plane back up and flying.
I went when I was just a little tyke; would like to plan a trip now, but it's at least a 3 day trip, so we'll have to see. Maybe this fall?

She may not want to quilt after she sees this place.

Hmm.... tempting bait indeed.
Maybe not, but I'd need to take out a second mortgage to stay

I think I'll plan a trip for the Fourth of July weekend. Visit some Hudson River lighthouses before the Saturday air show.
That's good news. Wish I had made it there back when I lived in that part of the country.
Well, I made a trip to the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome on Saturday, July 5, 2014. The aftermath of Hurricane Arthur had winds aloft of 30 mph, so the aerodrome canceled their biplane rides, the Saturday airshow, and the Albatros was parked across the airfield behind some hangars so it wasn't even visible. A very disappointing trip.
lovely a/c. ive always wanted to go see old rhinebeck but thatd be quite a roadtrip endeavor from western ohio even in the best of economic times (say back in the bygone days of gas for less than a dollar a gallon {i starting to sound like my grandparents, just when did i get this old ) its definitely on my bucket list.
