    Nice picture.

Impressive to see this WW I bomber in flight.

So we need to bringe these two together.

The Aviatik is not far away in the Czech Republic...

That is just fantastic - I never thought we'd see a WWI multi-engined type back in the air to be honest. Brilliant effort.

If only I could get to see it whilst I'm in Italy.

Great to see a Caprioni in the air - and nice pics of both it and the Aviatik

I'm quite sure that Caproni would very much like to stay away from any and all Aviatiks!

Both are great looking plane though.

That Aviatik is brilliant. I'd love to do a repaint like that.

I suspect that the rear gun stand probably breaks modern Health and Safety regulations, Alastair.

That is not the seaplane version of the Caproni Ca.3, Chris, and I doubt that it will be doing a 'round the world tour'.

    Seaplane version?

I did find a Ca.43 which was a Ca.4 with twin pontoons, but it was after the war and only one was made . . . : (

According to the Wikipedia article on the Caproni Ca.3, in the section on 'Variants', there was a prototype seaplane version given the post-war designation Ca.39. The prototype's number was CA 211.

It's Zanardo replica. Little hops, not the first flight.
