BoB - He who runs away lives to...

1940 - The French are on the run

The Luftwaffe clears the path for the advancing Panzerspitzen of the Heer.

A Messerschmitt Zerstörer and a Rotte of Bf. 109s is on a combat air patrol.

They detected a pair of Hawker Hurricanes heading westwards. Obiously they try to reach their home airfield.

"Indianer auf 12 Uhr!" calls Major Neuman via the radio.

The Germans accelerate straight forward to engange the enemy.

The planes exchange bullets and the Hurricane with national emblem from Great Britain catches the combined salvos from Feldwebel Koch's Bf. 110 and Leutnant Diecke's Bf. 109.

The German planes get the right moment to turn around and Feldwebel Koch finishes off the British Hurricane.

Major Herbert Neuman goes for the remaining Belgian Hurricane but misses.

When Leutnant Diecke swings in to support his leader a lucky hit causes an explosion of the Hurricane's fuel tank.

"Der Abschuss gehört Ihnen, Diecke. Sie schulden mir aber ein Flasche Schampus! , calls Major Neuman.

(The kill belongs to you, Diecke, but you owe me bottle of champaign!)

The fighters continue with the patrol and search the horizont for more enemies.

Guess that says it all really Sven.

Don't ask me why I added "A" damages to the last three Bf.109 shots.

Maybe hunting fever, but If you look at the pictures, I drawed 2 x zeros and one explosion.

If you distract them, the complete damage is 18, enought for the Belgian Hurricane.

    Sorry.

    I upgraded the AAR.

    Excellent AAR, Sven.
I do seem to find the landscape a lot similar to my flying escapades during the Summer of 1917...
