Thread: Raiden BoB Miniatures

    Default Raiden BoB Miniatures

These were a set of 1/287 Raiden Miniatures available through I-94 enterprises. I decided to go with this scale (vs the 1/144) due to the variety of models and scale relative to the playing cards. The smaller models seem to make the movement cards "faster" - all an illusion but a good one! I'm awaiting some Ju-88s as well. I realized my table light was very bright, it washes out some of the top and side camo of the 109's.

oh! I forgot after starting the decals I decided to order the decal pack for the Squadron lettering. The decals are very tiny, but add so much to the minis. Plus I need some way to differentiate between the individual spits and hurricanes. I was smarter on the 109s and changed the nose paint on each of them.

I used to wargame with the chaps from Raiden - nice blokes

I fin'd 1/285 / 1/300 minis more visually appealing for WW2 games - and easier on the pocket too!

They look very neat for such small aircraft Ryan.
Obviously nothing wrong with either your eyesight or your steadiness of hand.

    Excellent painted minis.
I'd like to see photos of them in the gaming table.

If you hadn't said the scale they look just like 1/200. Great paint job. Love to see them in action.
