eventually they will be painted, British roundel on top of the entente tins, Maltese cross for the CP

The CP interloper in the first tin is Hannah's captured Pup (kampfflieger/shapeways) which she has painted

    John,
Saw the album picture before I saw this thread. The best part of this method is working though the biscuits to get the tin!

    Good idea!

PS: I think I see where that PM about custom card production is coming from...

Nice idea and utilising available materials with an ulterior motive to recycle said items.
See you on the Dark Side......

    Question

What I want to know were the cookies used to subvert pilots to the WW2 "Dark Side"!

One of the tins is actually a tin of chocolates.....
My wife played a game during the primary use phase.....
the tin was next to me and a game laid out

    Good use of initiative John.
The use of chockies is really playing the game.

Clever, very clever (for both the tin re-use and the ...ahem....baiting the trap )

Very good solution. Such fine biscuit tins are never ever thrown away in my house as well They are simply multipurpose for open minded people you proved so wisely!

We use them for all sorts of stuff, my wife has a couple with sewing stuff in them,
some of the girls smaller toy are kept in them in the caravan for wet days on holiday
    the list goes on.
My main reason is, I spent £6 on foam, I am less than half way through it, the tins are free, money not spent on special boxes or the Colonels lovely trays is more money for Ares and Shapeways
